dressed crab
Dressed Crab has a plastazote head and claws with a textured latex-based paint finish. The claws articulate and the vision for the mask is through the mouth.
Spaghetti bolognese
Spaghetti Bolognese has a varaform base head and hoop skirt covered in foam tube covered in lycra. Her fork is made from plastazote with a small aluminium base to keep it stable.
Her “sauce” is a sequin leotard with hand-painted latex and glitter finishing on the noodles.
Chattering Teeth
Chattering Teeth has an aluminium frame and simple hinge mechanism made from PVC pipe attached to a back pack as a base. There are handles inside which enable the wearer to bounce the bottom jaw open. It is covered in plastazote and then a foil dot lycra.
Turkey Crown
Turkey Crown was a Christmas Special costume and is a reticulated foam body skinned in lycra and painted with latex-based paint. It was then artworked to make it look delicious. The crown is a combination of plastazote and varaform and has 360 vision through the gold sequin. The booties are made from leatherette and are attached to the bottom of the feet.
